Three gestures, a few minutes, and the hold lasts all day — even in water.
Applying a cover
Skin must be clean, dry and free of cream. It is the only rule that truly matters: a trace of moisturiser or oil stops the silicone from adhering.
Peel off the protective film — La Seconde Peau has none: it comes out of its case. Centre the cover without pulling on the skin. Press from the centre outwards, with the flat of your hand, for twenty to thirty seconds.
Painless removal
Lift it slowly from the edge, without jerking. Never in one sharp pull.
Caring for a reusable cover
After each use, wash the inner side in warm water with a drop of mild, fragrance-free soap, using your fingertips, not your nails. Rinse thoroughly. Let it air-dry, inner side up, without wiping: a cloth leaves fibres that wear down the grip. Then store it on its protective film — or, for La Seconde Peau, in its case.
A cover that seems to have lost its hold almost always simply needs a wash.
The detail that changes everything
Prepare your skin about ten minutes before you get dressed. The hold is decided entirely in those ten minutes.
