A cover holds by adhesion. So everything depends on the skin that receives it.
Before
Clean, dry skin, with no cream or oil. The slightest trace of skincare, even invisible, is enough to prevent the grip. If you have just stepped out of the shower, wait until your skin is completely dry.
Apply
Centre it, then press flat with your palm for twenty to thirty seconds. The warmth of your hand does the rest. Don’t readjust it ten times: every time it is lifted, the surface tires.
Remove
Peel off slowly, from one edge, pulling towards you rather than upwards. Without jerking, there is neither mark nor pain.
Care
Wash in warm water with a drop of mild, fragrance-free soap, using your fingertips — never a cloth or your nails. Rinse thoroughly, let it air-dry, inner side up, without rubbing. Store it on its original film or, for La Seconde Peau, in its case: that is what protects the grip.
Well cared for, a cover can be reused for a long time. Poorly dried or stored bare, it loses its hold within a few wears.
